[LG refrigerator condensation] Condensation forms inside the fridge. There is condensation formed inside the fridge.

Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • Condensation forms inside the fridge.
  • There is condensation formed inside the fridge.

When the door is opened and closed, hot air from the outside mixes with cold inside air, and condensation may form on those parts with a low temperature, such as shelves or walls inside the refrigerator, due to moisture in the air.
It is like condensation that forms on the surface of a cold glass in hot summer.
Condensation may form on the inside of a refrigerator particularly on hot and humid days.
In particular, if the refrigerator is installed close to a window, such as on a balcony, warm moist air from outside may easily enter the balcony through the window and cause condensation to form inside the refrigerator.
If the door is not closed completely due to interference by food (mainly food stored in the door basket [stand]), cold air can leak through small gaps and cause condensation to form.
If you put hot foods into the refrigerator and it comes into contact with cold air, condensation may form.
It can also occur if a container placed inside the refrigerator is not tightly closed and the contents leak.
If you have an old refrigerator or have recently moved, condensation may form due to weakened adhesion of the door gasket.

Try this

Condensation may form easily in the heat and humidity of summer, so gently wipe moisture off before using the product.
Reorganize the food and close the door tightly before using the product.

Cool hot foods down sufficiently before storing them.
Store food containing high water content or in a liquid state in airtight containers.
Wipe condensation formed on the door gasket or inside the refrigerator with a warm dishcloth, and then wipe the surface again with a dry dishcloth.
After cleaning, adjust the level of the refrigerator by tilting it slightly backwards.
The backward adjustment will improve the adhesion of the door gasket.
Request a service if you want to consult a professional or have it checked by a service technician through a visit.
