What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My LG7 One I've had my new LG for a week and I absolutely adore it. The "boombox" sound is really big and I enjoy listening to music more than ever before. The display shines with beautiful bright colours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I want someone to return my LG G4 I lost beca... I have had my new LG G7 One a few months now and I have to say I'm disappointed. I have had two LG phones before this one , the last one being an LG G4. I read a review where the individual is complaining that he has to turn on data to send or receive pictures when texting. I am 99% certain the issue he's telling everyone about is not a Rogers issue but rather an LG issue My G4 did the exact same thing, would not allow You to send or receive multimedia messages unless you had data turned on even if you we're using WiFi or not. It simply would not send or receive pics without having Data switched on....Period. My new LG G7 One is exactly the same must have data turned on or just forget about it. I still cannot send or receive pics without data turned on...period . The other LG G7 One owner stated he was with Rogers and I am with Telus.... both of my LG'S we're and are on telus network and both phones actually all 3 if my LG phones have been with Telus so I have to agree that it us an LG Issue. How about you guys just say " Yes, it's probably an LG issue, what can we do to make you, you being the loyal LG Customers that you are, happy ? Passing the buck off to our providers is what I would expect from a lesser brand not LG. I personally have been a spokesperson of sorts promoting LG phones to anyone who asked my opinion and I am responsible for 2 new customers this year who both bought LG phones based on my high opinion of your products. I still like LG phones and out of all the phones I've owned and that's at least 10 of them, LG was by far the best....Until now anyway. I am sorry to say but compared to my LG G4 this LG G7 One is sadly lacking. I would trade this one in for another LG G4 in a heartbeat. Unfortunately for me I didn't do so before the 15 days time allowed so I'm stuck with it for now.... trade it for another was an option but ........... time ran Please let us know how to rectify the " No Data No Picture " issue and my loyalty will remain intact .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst LG I've had wish I wasn't stuck with this thing, my LG G6 was much better, the only reason I 'upgraded' was because the G6 battery life sucked. I miss the better camera on the G6 and my external plug in mic that worked perfect on the G6 doesn't work at all on the G7 One. So many things I don't like about this phone, can't even list them all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Alright I bought this is December and have nothing but problems with the text messages. Always double and triple sending. Have had it sent away and done everything possible and nothing has worked. I don't recommend this phone

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Decent phone but device support sucks Had the phone since 3rd week of Dec. 2018. Really like the simple and non-bloated features of an Android One phone as well as the audio features. Where LG dropped the ball is in device support. I received the January security update, I believe, around the second or third week of January and has been stuck there since and it’s already past the second week of March 2019. And I see this as a false advertisement as it’s one of the key features touted. Maybe LG should unlock the phone’s bootloader so good people on XDA community can deliver the support the device needs that LG themselves can’t deliver. If there is a one star rating I’ll give that one instead. Go buy something else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Where are the security updates I bought this phone as it is marketed as I bought this phone as it was running Android One with the promise of "Monthly Security Updates". As of March 15th, I am still running on Jan 2019 security patch. LG says that they have not received the updates from Google. I called Google and they said that they get all the updates as stated on Come on LG, start delivering monthly security updates as promised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This phone isn't a lg g7. Awesome smartphone for people who like stock android, if you are a long time lg g series user I do not recommend. The UI is not like any g series phone you've encountered. Great functionalities, high fi quad DAC is a must for any music enthusiasts and the high quality and durability makes this phone great for people not used to lg interface.
