Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major bug renders phone useless Let's start with the few positives about this phone. It is sturdy and the screen resolution is wonderful something important to me and the reason why I used to buy LG phones. The processor is powerful and it comes with sufficient storage even with the default card. I find the huge buttons cubersome and Andoid One as an Operating system very invasive but I admit it is a question of tastes. But what is the point of having a beautiful car if the engine will not start? Now an Android update renders the phone unusable and my company replaced it and told me this is a common occurence. In other words an Android update PROVIDED by the company makes the phone useless. This will not appear in any review because they used brand new phones with no updates. So basically all the time you spend transferring your data and customizing your phone is useless an Android update will scrap your phone. The retail price I paid for was$ 839. Yes it fell under their 1 year warranty. I called them they "apologize" but that's it stick with the phone and buzz off. Buyer beware I will never buy LG phones again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Big disappointment I've had this phone for about 7 months. The main reason I choose this phone was for the speaker which does not disappoint. It's loud. Not phenomenal sound quality, but I had no expection that it would sound great. The other reason I chose this was my absolutely excellent experience with my lg G3. Still one of the best phones I've had. Well needless to say this phone did not live up to expectations, and quite frankly my only real expectation was a reliable phone that I could listen to music on and take photos. Before I rip this phone apart I'll start with what I did like, actually what I loved. The sound quality through headphones is unreal. The software designers obviously put a great deal of focus here. I've had the same set of headphones for the last 2 phones (in addition to any other devices I use them with) and there is a dramatic difference in clarity and overall quality of sound. I would have swore they were a new and much more expensive set. With that out of the way, the bad. I'm pretty sure my old Samsung s3 would be much faster than this phone. I am shocked how slow it runs, even after reseting it and optimization. I've also never had a phone.... Or even a electronic device in general crash this frequently. It's almost never something that requires a restart of the phone but often will have to restart the program I was trying to use. Spotify for example will often have to be forced closed and restarted at least 2 times before it starts and I can expect it to crash if I do something crazy, like search for a song or add something to the Q. And this camera app it horrendous! The picture quality is so far below what any other manufacturers are putting out. Everything looks drab. And that's if I'm fortunate enough to be able to take photos which generally speaking I can't. Certainly no spontaneous shots. I've missed out on literally hundreds of photo opertunitys. During a trip to San diego shortly after purchasing this phone I became painfully aware of this when I realized over 3/4 of the pictures I thought I took were not there. A huge chunk of our trip. A huge chunk of memories we will never get back as we are un likely to be able to get back there for a very long time if ever. I really hate to be the person who let's a product sour his view of a company, but I can honestly say this will most likly be my last lg phone. I'm a sucker for the underdog, and I really wanted to believe in this phone but it's terrible. I couldn't even recommend this if it was the free phone with your plan. I sincerely hope lg gets better in the future because I've always genuinely liked them as a brand. This was my first bad experience with them, but this was a big waste of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fingerprint sensor failing I have had this phone less than a year and was generally quite pleased. Enjoying Android without the bloatware. However, the fingerprint sensor has been an inconsistent issue. I'm not sure if it's hardware or some app I use, but the fingerprint sensor will work for a while and then stop. This usually coincides with updates, but not always. If I check security options, fingerprint isn't even an option anymore. Rebooting in safe mode sometimes fixes the issue temporarily, but it always returns. In the last few weeks, the sensor has not worked more often than it works. I shouldn't have to reboot my phone several times a day. I've read that older LG phones have also had issues, so I'm starting to lean towards hardware. I don't think I will buy another LG phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from There needs to be some changes in future updates. I would love to keep my G7 ONE if these thingS can be fixed; One feature i needed greatly in my new brand new phone was wifi-calling which they took out for the G7 one, if it can be added in an update please do so! Few other things i hope to be customizable; when you want to adjust the brightness you have to swipe down twice to ge to it and when you adjust it and take your finger off it never stays in the same place. It would also be nice to customize where the back button is, especially in "swipe up" mode. Google assistant Doesn't work half the time (from the assistant button or by voice activation) it will start to listen but then will not come up with an answer or speak until it's closed and tried a second time. Happens every time, even with perfect consistent internet. Looked everywhere in setting to disable the "on screen tips" but cant find anything.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not that good I juste bought this phone cause i previously had a lg g5 and was very satisfied with it so i guessed that this one would be even better but that was not the case. I lost a lot of fonctions that i liked such as the quickremote and i can't even set custom rington for my contact. Plus as i write this review i realise that i can't even switch the auto correct to english from french as i could with the g5. I don't really like that phone for now and i hope future upgrades Will correct those loss
