During the eventual re-packaging of the LG Content Store (software update) the app icon will be removed from the list of available Apps while there is no telling yet whether the service will be expected to be available again from the LG Content Store.
Termination of the App service is across the board regardless of Smart television’s operating system.
GameFly Streaming services ceased accepting new member subscription on July 15th . The App is currently unavailable from the LG Content Store. If the App had already been previously downloaded & installed, attempting to access the service by clicking the icon will result in the following notification message appearing on screen :
LG Store offers free app download service to every LG Smart TV user. If anyone who was using this service has complaints over service termination, they should contact GameFly Streaming themselves at the following e-mail: streaming@gamefly.com
For whatever reason, the decision to terminate is and was solely at the discretion of the service provider and we, at LG, respect their wish.
