Electric Range: “F-4” error code – troubleshooting

Should the LG electric range be beeping alerting customer to some malfunction, seek error code.


If the Control Panel Display lights up error code “F-4” it indicates a shorted oven sensor!


Have customer press the Clear/Off button to terminate the beeping alarm.


Try to reset the unit by either unplugging the range or switching circuit breaker to “off” position.


Advise customer to leave it “as is” for 3 to 5 minutes then re-plug or switch breaker back “on”.


Either the range has been reset and will operate normally moving forward or;


…if the “F-4” error code persists, a service technician will need be dispatched.
