[VIDEO] Not Draining (clothes too wet) - Top load washer

Troubleshooting

Not Draining (Clothes too wet) - Top Load Washer

The cycle is complete, but the fabric is still soaking wet

If the load of laundry is unbalanced, the tub will not spin properly and may make a thumping or banging sound during the spin portion of the cycle.

If the automatic unbalance function cannot correct the problem, the UE error code is dislayed and the cycle is paused for safety.

If this occurs, open the lid, redistribute the laundry, close the door and press START to resume the cycle.

If the washer has turned off, redistribute the laundry, then press POWER, Spin Speed and START.

Laundry will also retain more water after cycles designed with low spin speeds. Low spin speeds are necessary for woolen, delicate items or performance garments in order to prevent damage to fabrics.

For express cycles, the spin speed is automatically set to low to save time.

Problems with drainage can also cause wet laundry at the end of a cycle.
