Flickering Video whenever playing XBox HDR Game Console
Customers have reported Flickering Video (intermittent flashing images) on screen of their LG TV whenever the source happens to be their X-box HDR Gaming console connected to television via HDMI port.
Upon thorough testing & analysis LG engineers have discovered the root cause of on-screen Flickering Video from any X-box HDR gaming console to be interference from the television’s Live Plus feature.

Some of the takeaways
Update: after factory reset, the problem persists, but I noticed that when I put 4k 60hz instead of 120hz, the problem is solved...and when 120hz but on other resolution than 4k, it’s solved too...but before the actual update on 13.05.2022, it was ok even for 4k with 120hz.
Another update: so today I noticed, that if I turn off VRR and run 4k120hz, the problem is gone. Or if I have VRR on 4k120hz but in game (used halo on this test) changed to 120hz instead of running 60hz, the problem is solved as well...although, turning off VRR, having 4k120hz it’s OK running either 120hz or 60hz in game...
Some video games (i.e. Red Dead Redemption II) only run at 30 fps so picture issues are inevitable. Try disabling the “Allow Auto Low Latency Mode”. When the X-Box ALLM function is turned “On”, the television’s smooth frame playback gets disabled.
Should none of the suggestions prove successful in your case, you are strongly advised to report incident to Microsoft at the following link: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback. Microsoft will then be aware of the issue and release a fix as soon as possible.
