A CF error code displayed in the control panel window of a refrigerator indicates that the feedback signal is less than 65 seconds during the operation of the fan. This refers to the fan at the back and bottom of the refrigerator that expels heat from the condenser.
Regrettably, there is no troubleshooting step to resolve this issue. The appliance will require an in-house Service Repair.
There is a very slight chance that some static electricity might have been trapped in the printed circuit board causing this error code.
Flea power is residual static electricity that remains within an electronic device or appliance’s Printed Circuit Board even after it has been powered off, often causing erratic behavior from the device. Draining residual flea power, also known as a performing a "hard reset", is also a common troubleshooting step in eliminating erroneous error codes that might have popped up in the control panel display window. Unplug the refrigerator for approximately 20 seconds then plug it back in. If the error code persists, then SERVICE REPAIR is inevitable.
