You can update your TV firmware with software downloaded from the LG support website. Confirm the full model number first, then use a USB storage device to transfer the correct software to the TV.
How to set: General > About This TV > TV Information
Open TV Information and note the full model number. You will need it to find the correct software for your TV.
How to set: Support > Software, Firmware & Drivers
Visit the LG website and select your country. Open Software, Firmware & Drivers, enter the full model number, and select Search.
Find the latest software version listed for your model and download the provided files to your computer. Software upgrades are available only for supported models.
Connect the USB storage device to your computer. Create a folder named LG_DTV, then save the downloaded software files in that folder.
Remove the USB storage device from the computer and connect it to a USB port on the side or back of the TV.
When the USB CONNECTED message appears on the TV, select Stay.

Open About This TV to view the software update progress bar.
