Cycles and Options - Top Load Washer (Model WT6105CW)
Some newer LG washing machines have reverted to a more basic, simplistic, low-profile design simply by removing that large display window at the control panel. That said, some innovative minor tweaks had to be introduced in order not to lose the operational functionality of the washing machine.
- The washer is equipped with an automatic error monitoring system to detect and diagnose problems at an early stage.
- If the washer does not work properly or does not work at all, check the following points before calling for in-home repair service.
The illustration below shows the control panel for the washer model number WT6105CW. Place emphasis on the status of the LED indicator lights illuminating on the control panel:
Wash cycles are designed for different types of loads. Select the cycle that best matches the contents of the load for optimal wash results and fabric care. For best results, see the Sorting Items section of the User Manual and follow the fabric care labels on your items. For a guide to fabric care symbols, see the Sorting Items section of the Operation Manual.

About Modifier Buttons
Each cycle has default settings that are selected automatically. You may also customize these settings using the cycle modifier buttons.
- Repeatedly press the button for the desired modifier until the indicator light for the desired setting is lit.
- The washer automatically adjusts the water level for the type and size of wash load for best results and maximum efficiency.
- This is a high-efficiency washer, and the water
levels may be much lower than you expect. This
is normal, and cleaning/rinsing performance will
not be compromised.
- The LED next to the setting lights up when the setting is selected.
- To protect your garments, not every wash temperature or option is available with every cycle.
- A chime will sound twice and the LED will not light if the desired setting is not allowed for the selected cycle.
- Follow the fabric care labels on the garment for best results.
