Can this model be installed flush with my cabinetry?
Yes. LG wall ovens are designed to support both flush and proud (protrudes past the cabinets) installations, allowing you to choose the look that best complements your kitchen. Whether you prefer a seamless built-in appearance or a traditional proud installation, be sure to follow the installation instructions and cabinet dimensions provided in the installation guide for your specific model.
What is Air Fry and do I need a special basket?
Air Fry delivers crispy, crowd‑pleasing flavor fast—with no preheating required and no extra countertop gadget needed. High temperatures and a powerful convection fan work together to create the crave‑worthy crunch you love while using significantly less oil than traditional deep frying. For best results, it is recommended to use the included air fry tray. Refer to the owner's manual for model-specific recommendations.
What is the difference between EasyClean® and Self Clean?
EasyClean® is a fast cleaning cycle designed for light, everyday oven messes using only water. Self Clean uses high temperatures to burn away heavier baked-on residue and is recommended for more thorough cleaning.
Can I control my wall oven with the LG ThinQ® app?
Yes, The LG ThinQ® application allows you to communicate with the appliance using a smartphone. The LG ThinQ® app lets you monitor cooking progress, receive notifications, and remotely control certain oven functions. Features may vary by model and require a Wi-Fi connection.
What cookware can I use in my LG wall oven?
Regarding the larger lower oven most oven-safe cookware, including metal, glass, ceramic, and cast iron, can be used. Always follow the cookware manufacturer's recommendations and avoid using materials that are not intended for oven use. Regarding the Speed Oven (upper oven), to avoid risk of personal injury or property damage do not use stoneware, metal cookware, or metal rimmed cookware in this oven.
Does my LG wall oven require preheating?
For best cooking and baking results, preheating is recommended for most recipes. Some cooking modes and food types may not require preheating such as Air Fry. Refer to your recipe and owner's manual for guidance.
What is Steam Sous Vide?
Steam Sous Vide cooking uses steam to cook foods "low and slow". Use it to cook meat, fish, seafood, poultry or vegetables. Food must be vacuum packed in pouches (vacuum sealer not included). It is not necessary to preheat the oven when using sous vide and unlike traditional sous vide cooking, there is no need for a water bath. Refer to the cooking guide for recommended sous vide settings.
What is a speed oven?
A Speed Oven combines the convenience of a microwave with the performance of a convection oven in one versatile appliance. On select LG combination wall ovens, the upper TurboCook™ Speed Oven can be used as a microwave, convection oven, or both together to cook food faster while delivering oven-quality results. It also includes additional cooking modes, such as Air Fry, for added versatility.
Can an LG Wall Oven be installed underneath a cooktop?
Yes. As long as all of the clearance measurements are met within the installation guide, LG Wall Ovens can be installed underneath a cooktop. Please consult the installation guide for more details.
