FF Error Code

An ‘ER FF’ error code on the display indicates an abnormality of the freezer fan motor. This often happens if frost accumulates on the freezer fan, preventing it from turning.

When the ‘ER FF’ code displays, it will be necessary to unplug the unit (or turn the breaker off) for 4 hours to allow any frost or ice accumulation to melt off the freezer fan. After 4 hours have passed, plug the unit back in or turn the breaker back on.

Note Frost buildup on the motor fan blades is neither visible to the naked eye nor does it have anything to do with possible frost build-up inside the freezer compartment.
