Erratic color scheme on screen
Should you suddenly face erratic color scheme appearing on screen of your LG 43 inch monitor, such as color pattern completely off, usually further to some configuration modification from the on-screen menu, please consult the following article for explanation and troubleshooting.
Cause and Symptoms
- If user’s computer features GTX1060/1070/1080 Graphic Card, erratic color scheme may occur on screen when EDID data gets inadvertently altered from making changes to HDMI Ultra Deep color, PBP or FreeSync menu options.
- When GTX1060/1070/1080 graphic card used, erratic color scheme occurs after HDMI Ultra Deep Color option changed.
- When GTX1060/1070/1080 graphic card used, erratic color scheme occurs after PBP menu option is changed.
- When GTX1060/1070/1080 graphic card used, erratic color scheme occurs after FreeSync menu option is changed.
Try this
- Check whether graphic card is either GTX1060 / GTX1070 / GTX1080.
- Reboot the PC. Since the output signal setting of the PC is incorrect (based on previous monitor configuration) PC settings basically needs to get refreshed through rebooting computer.
