AI Sound Mode Pro
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sound Pro is a feature that utilizes LG Electronics' deep learning technology to provide viewers optimized sound and immersive surround sound effects based on the video content genre being played or streamed.
Note
This only applies to the TV speaker or devices that support the [Sound Share] feature and are connected to the HDMI (eARC/ARC) port of the TV.

AI Sound
Based on artificial intelligence, it analyzes the characteristics of content in real time to provide optimal sound effects and a clear voice, and realizes realistic 3D sound with the latest sound technology.
- This setting only applies to internal speakers of the TV or LG Sound bars that support the TV Sound Mode Share and are connected to the HDMI (eARC/ARC) terminal.
- When AI Sound Mode is set to On, the sound mode is changed to AI Sound/AI Sound Pro.
- The configurable items differ depending upon model.
[2023 WebOS23] and [2022 WebOS22] Setting AI Sound
Press the
button on the TV remote and select
[All Settings] →
[General] →
[AI Service] →
[AI Sound Pro].
- Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
- Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.
- Select [General].
- Select [AI Service].
- Set [AI Sound Pro] to On.
How to enable AI Sound in different WebOS versions
- [2021 WebOS6.0] - Press the
button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [General] → [AI Service] → [AI Sound Pro].
- [2020 WebOS5.0] - Press the
button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [General] → [AI Service] → [AI Sound Pro].
How to enable AI Acoustic Tuning
Go to Settings → All Settings → General → AI Service →AI Acoustic Tuning
With the AI Acoustic Tuning feature, you can detect the space where your TV is installed using your Magic Remote’s microphone to optimize the audio of your TV for your environment.
Select Start New Sound Tuning to measure the space in which the TV is installed.
When the initial detection is complete, you can select your desired audio mode.
- Off : This option disables the use of AI Acoustic Tuning-adjusted audio.
Selecting this option outputs your TV’s default sound without making any adjustments to it.
- Standard : Selecting this option outputs AI Acoustic Tuning-adjusted audio in Standard mode.
This mode provides a clean and natural sound.
- Bass Boost : Selecting this option outputs AI Acoustic Tuning-adjusted audio with an emphasis on bass.
- Treble Boost : Selecting this option outputs AI Acoustic Tuning-adjusted audio with an emphasis on treble.
If there is more than a library noise level (over 30 ~ 40 dBA), we recommend that you install from within 3 meters (9.8 feet).
This function may not work properly
- The background noise is too large over 40 dBA.
- TV and Magic Remote distance 5 meters (16.4 feet) or more.
