Additional Troubleshooting
Q : Why is my dryer taking so long to dry clothes?
A : Proper airflow is critical to the efficient operation of clothes dryers. A lint filter which is full of lint or clogged with fabric softener sheet residue can reduce the airflow to the point that the time required to dry clothing will be greatly increased.
Q : Why is my dryer not heating?
A : Some cycles automatically default to NO HEAT or AIR DRYING. Select a cycle that promoting heated drying. Many cycles feature automatic ENERGY SAVER mode as the default setting. This option helps reduce energy consumption when drying clothes by circulating the refrigerant at a lower speed and cooler temperature than in Normal Dry Mode. When this option is selected, the drying time increases significantly.
