What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead out of the box Tv would not turn on using the remote or the button on back. Top of the screen had a chip out of the glass over the little lip on the edge of the glass. What is up with that little lip anyway. All the way around the edge of the glass. Does not make sense to me and would seem to be a problem spot. Was really looking forward to that great screen presence but after having had to return the tv do not know if we will replace it. The thrill is gone. Rated 5 out of 5 by from My second Oled TV. I upgraded from a 55" to a 65". My original Oled was curved and had 3D, but I wont miss those options. The picture has improved over the years. I have seen a lot of "burn in" concerns out there, but the average person will never experience this. Dont be cheap when purchasing HDMI cables. If you purchase a high end TV, spend the money on high end components. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hideous clear plastic along base 2" of clear plastic along base is hideous. I'd watch a Sears TV before I stared at this thing for the next several years

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TV makes you choose between artifacts and stutter I usually watch content with LG’s TruMotion on a mild setting (Judder 3) to smooth out motion, however this creates unnatural artifacts, including shimmering around moving objects, distortions, tearing, and sometimes outright bizarre mistakes in the image reproduction. Unfortunately, without TruMotion, the TV suffers from horrible stutter. Whereas most TV’s hold a picture for 15-20 milliseconds and then transition to the next frame for 25-20 milliseconds, this TV holds each frame for 41 milliseconds and then has a 0 millisecond transition to the next frame. This creates a nonstop jerky or flashing motion instead of the illusion of a fluid moving picture that you see on LED TV’s or in the movie theater. I wish LG had an alternative option to fade between frames like a standard TV without their motion processing. Ideally, such a setting would allow users to adjust a slider determining how long they want the frame hold time compared to the frame transition time. If this one feature could be added, I think I would love the TV. As is, I unfortunately cannot recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
