How often should I clean the lint filter?
Always make sure the lint filter a is clean before starting a new load; a clogged lint filter will increase drying time. To clean, pull the lint filter straight up and roll any lint off the filter with your fingers. Push the lint filter firmly back into place. If the lint filter has become very dirty or clogged with fabric softener, wash the lint filter in warm, soapy water and allow it to dry thoroughly before reinstalling. Always ensure that the lint filter is properly installed before running the dryer.
How can I avoid noise and vibration?
The dryer must be installed and levelled on a solidly constructed floor with a maximum slope of 1 inch (2.5cms). If required, adjust the leveling legs to compensate for uneven flooring before use.
What does the AI Dry cycle do?
This cycle optimizes drying times and temperatures by detecting the laundry’s
characteristics.
Do LG top load dryers need venting?
Yes. This model requires external venting via a 4" diameter metal duct. The maximum length of the dryer vent ducting should not exceed 65 ft. To reduce the risk of fire, combustion, or accumulation of combustible gases, DO NOT exhaust dryer air into an enclosed and unventilated area, such as an attic, wall, ceiling, crawl space, chimney, gas vent, or concealed space of a building. Please consult the owners manual for full details.
Can LG top load dryers be side vented?
The appliance can be configured to vent to the side or bottom using an adaptor kit 383EEL9001B (not included). Please refer to www.lgcanadaparts.com or your local LG appliance retailer for necessary adaptor kit.
