Can the WashTower® be disassembled for delivery?

A.

Yes it can be disassembled for delivery purposes. Please follow the supplied installation manual provided with the appliance for intructions.

Can a WashTower® be separated for side by side use? Can it be disassembled for delivery?

A.

The washer and dryer cannot be disassembled and installed for use side by side. However, if it is necessary to disassemble the appliance in order to move or reinstall it, follow the supplied installation manual provided with the appliance for intructions.

How long does an average wash and dry cycle take?

A.

Wash and dry cycles time depend on fabric type, soiling and weight, wash cycle choice and transfer time.

Do LG Washtowers have 2 plugs?

A.

Yes. The LG WashTower® has two plugs—one for the washer and one for the dryer. This allows for use of either the washer or dryer independently of each other.

Can you reverse doors on an LG WashTower®?

A.

No, the doors are not reversible.

How do you clean the detergent dispenser? 

A.

Open the dispenser drawer, then pull it out while pressing the [PUSH] button. Clean dispenser with toothbrush and lukewarm water. Reassemble and reinsert the dispenser drawer.

What is LG ThinQ® and how does it work with an LG WashTower®?

A.

The LG ThinQ® application allows you to communicate with the appliance via a smartphone over wifi. The LG ThinQ® app offers control and convenience for smart LG appliances to help you simplify life and enjoy the comforts of home. Manage and monitor your washer/dryer remotely, track and download cycles, connect with Google or Amazon Alexa voice assistants, and access smart diagnosis, customer support, and much more.

What are the electrical requirements?

A.

For WashTower®'s with a vented electric dryer the requirements are as follows; (washer) 120-VAC, 60-

Hz. grounded outlet protected by a 15-ampere fuse or circuit breaker. (dryer) 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes.

Q.

Does the appliance need to be vented outside?

A.

Yes. This dryer on this model requires external venting via a 4" diameter metal duct. The maximum length of the dryer vent ducting should not exceed 65 ft.  To reduce the risk of fire, combustion, or accumulation of combustible gases, DO NOT exhaust dryer air into an enclosed and unventilated area, such as an attic, wall, ceiling, crawl space, chimney, gas vent, or concealed space of a building. Please consult the owners manual for full details.

What is ezDispense®?

A.

ezDispense® is an automatic dispenser that selects detergent amount based on soil level & load traits, optimizing wash performance & preventing overuse. The reservoir can store up to 31 loads.  *Based on 9-13 lb. loads in normal mode, up to 18 loads when using detergent and softener; up to 31 loads when using both compartments to dispense detergent only. Always use HE (High-Efficiency) detergent with this washer. Use the ezDispense® Nozzle Clean function to periodically clean the reservoirs or before changing the softener reservoir to a detergent reservoir and vice versa.

 TurboWash®360° uses five jets with variable sprays that deliver a complete clean in under 30 minutes (based on independent testing of a comparable model in normal cycle with TurboWash® Option, 10 lb. load (October 2023)
