What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Picture quality is great until a pixel got stuck I've had the TV for about three months now. The picture is amazing. The color is the best I've experienced on a TV, and the black is as black as I've experienced on a TV. The only problem I've had with the TV is a pixel got stuck white so early in the TV's life. I'm currently working through the support process, and my impression of the TV, brand, and service could change for the better or worse depending on how this shakes out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV ever It has best picture of any TV I have ever seen. The sound is much better then my older 55 inch. The set I have is a 65 inch and the resolution on the LG is so much better then the Samsung 55 inch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better than I hoped! I bought this tv about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier with it. The picture quality is amazing - especially with 4k content. A nice bonus is that the smart tv features actually work great too. I was expecting to have to use another device to get quality streaming apps and input management, but this tv does it all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Splendid Picture! I am, overall, very pleased with my new LG 77" OLED TV! The picture is splendid, and the features are customer friendly. The only downside (hence 4 stars instead of 5) is the volume: it requires me to ramp up the volume on my sound bar to maximum -- or close to it -- depending upon what I'm playing on the TV, as opposed to my previous TV (65", connected to the same sound bar), which required a lot less volume. I've tried various setups to no avail. Thus I am very happy with the TV in all respects except for the issue with the volume level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good picture The TV was installed on July 24 and has a very good picture. I also had a Bose soundbar installed but was sold the wrong wireless speaker that I exchanged for the correct rear speakers and is now working OK. Currently the Firestick is not working and I think the Geek Squad tech may have unplugged it while installing a USB cable for a camera. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LG OLED 55” C8PUA Review It took quite a bit of effort to get sufficient internet speed worked out with my ISP (Spectrum) in order to enjoy watching streamed 4K movies. However, once done I must say this TV is a big improvement over our old HD TV even for standard cable TV viewing. The colors are quite vivid and the contrast between light and dark is exceptional. As for 4K movies/shows I am just a little disappointed. Perhaps my expectations were too high - I expected 4K to be like looking through a window. Regardless, as I said, the picture is a big improvement for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous Picture, A Few Quirks & A Big Unknown Best picture of any TV I've owned. Occasional app problems; Netflix stalls, YouTube crashes. Audio bug: I'm using Optical Out and every once in a while, it stops working. I have to switch the audio to another output and then back to Optical to get it working again. Image Retention Paranoia: The manual states that image retention is possible when displaying static images on the screen for a long time and/or can be caused by black bars shown on the left, right, top or bottom on the screen (common with anything not formatted for 16:9). What's a "long time?" I have no idea. Is watching a movie for 2 hours that I cannot resize a "long time?" I find myself switching inputs to something full screen every time I step away from what I'm watching because I just don't know.
