Rated 5 out of 5 by from much better than we expected We bought the matched washer and dryer about 10 months ago on special price at Lowes to replace our aging Whirlpool. We love the smaller size for the two of us and they can be hard to find in stores. Both the washer and dryer have out preformed what we expected. They handle any items we have washed it them with excellent results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size and works beautifully.. My house is very old and the previous owners built a back porch over the basement opening. Since then (47 years) I have had to get small washing machines and dryers. It has become increasingly difficult to get these smaller appliances that can hold at least more than 2-3 shirts. The LG compact washer is great! It has ample room for doing a regular wash load and it fits through our basement door! I do not ordinarily like tons of options on washing machines (I believe I'm a reincarnated Puritan), but this washer is pretty decent. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving it so far! I haven't had my washer very long but so far I am extremely pleased with it! I haven't used all the cycles but for my everyday clothes and towels the washer has done an excellent job. The high spin cycles do tend to vibrate but the medium speed has worked well, even on the towels, so I use the low/medium spin speeds. So far, so good. And for anyone who has used the compact washers in the past, believe me when I say they have gotten so much better! For condo and apartment dwellers with limited space, this washer works great and I am very happy with it and with the LG brand and quality! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this washer. Although I had to get a small washer that would fit under the counter, it has a good load capacity. I love all the different options and how quietly it operates. As an added bonus, its pretty to look at. I also love the pretty little tune it plays to signal the load is done. Great washer. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but want to reverse the doors It’s a nice set but can the doors be reversed? I have to have the washer on the right side due to the water hook up. When I open the washer door it blocks the dryer door.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Features Water Hammer at Beginning of Cycle I have exercised it for a month - almost. Great features and options - cleans clothes well. Water hammerin first minute of cycle is a problem - short bursts of water should be mitigated with longer slower bursts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far, So Good I've done about ten washes so far, using various wash/temp/spin cycles. The clothes are clean and reasonably wrung out at the end of each cycle although the spin is not any better than the 16-year old machine I left at my last residence (don't remember brand but it never had a single problem over those years that included one move). I'm hoping this one will last as long. So glad I didn't get one of the large machines because I do not need that much capacity and this one takes up a little less space. I do 2-4 washes at a time and then I carefully remove the drawer for detergent, gently dry it and the cavity it sits in and the deep groove in the door seal. Then I leave the door completely open and the drawer on top of the machine for 24 hours. The rest of the time I leave the drawer and the door slightly ajar. All this in the hope I don't get the dreaded mold I've read about with these new front loaders. The machine is a little noisy when it is spinning but it is not a bother to me. The thing is very heavy and sits solidly on the floor without moving during wash and spin. Now that these machines are digital, the cycle end sound is no longer a jarring buzz. This one has a very pleasant little ditty it "sings" that make me want to do a little dance on my way to take the clothes out. I'm pleased with my purchase and have my fingers crossed it will last another 16 years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
