I would rather leave my house and depend on a a dead fish strapped to my thigh for communication over this awful piece of machinery. I bought this in 2011 and now all it does it cause me problems 1: Crashes 3-5 times a day for no reason 2: Battery life is three hours if I'm lucky. 3: Adding music or deleting music has no longer become an option. 4: All apps are can't update or run anymore I think the only app I have left is weather and shazam 5: The plug has become so loose that if you look at it too hard it seems to unplug on it's own. 6: The battery swells up and over heats. I've replaced it three times now. So if you find yourself too happy all the time and need something to drive you bonkers buy this phone. If you need something dependable don't even glance at LG

Randomly reboots almost daily. screen goes blank while typing. manually need to remove the battery to reboot completely when frozen on a daily basis . Takes several MINUTES to restart. extremely poor indication of battery status. camera is brutal. Using the phone via Wind mobile just makes things even more difficult. Worst combination imaginable. Not worth the "savings".

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Phone I had the P999/G2X Version from Wind Mobile. No updates, 2.2 Froyo. I had this phone for 3 years, it served its purpose. First year it was great, worked perfectly. Second year it started to be very buggy and laggy, operating system corrupted, lost all my data and had to use system restore...twice! Third year was just horrendous, random reboots, battery life of around 10 hours, super laggy. Verdict: The phone's software became obsolete. There were no updates for the P999, causing each app update to make the phone run slower and slower. The hardware is good and the build quality is good (dropped it a few times) It is a decent phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as advertised Advertised as up-gradable, it's not. Supposed to work outside of Canada, it doesn't. Randomly reboots, burns through the battery in a couple of hours. Phone overheats and tech supports answer is to hard reload. Only slightly better than the Windows 6.5 phone I had before. Don't think I'll buy another LG and seriously reconsidering Wind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unreliable Spent a ridiculous amount so I wanted to love it. Did at first, then it began to shut off, or just screen would go black while typing. Often had to take battery off to reboot completely when froze up. Takes MINUTES to restart - if you have to make emergency call ~ you will be dead. Manufacturer replaced once, was unable to transfer pics & emails from old phone to new. New phone as bad as the first if not worse since new battery won't hold a charge, had to go to specialty store to replace it. FRUSTRATING waste of $
